How it Works
Curcumin has long been studied for its neurological support properties; however, it is also known to exhibit generally poor bioavailability, especially with respect to the brain.* Cogumin SLCP™ features Longvida® Optimized Curcumin, which utilizes Solid Lipid Curcumin Particle (SLCP™) Technology. In studies, Longvida® Optimized Curcumin exhibits up to 65 times the bioavailability of free curcuminoids compared with generic curcumin.* SLCP™ allows for the absorption and circulation of free, unmetabolized curcumin, which is generally unavailable from generic or soluble forms of curcumin. Cautions / Interactions
Curcumin may interact with anticoagulant and antiplatelet medications. If you are pregnant/nursing, taking these medications, or have a history of liver, gall bladder or gastrointestinal problems, consult your healthcare practitioner prior to use.
